The European Youth Championships in Lilleshall will take place this week, naming the new youth champions for 2022.

This week, Lilleshall National Sports Center is hosting the 2022 European Youth Championships. The best of the best young archers from across Europe will come together to name the champions in each category for this year.

The first stage of the competition, the qualifying round, will take place on Tuesday 16. This will be followed by the mixed team, team and individual eliminations on Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18. Friday 19 and Saturday 20 will feature the live finals to designate this year’s medalists.

More than 300 athletes from 30 different countries are taking part in the championships this week in Lilleshall. To follow the results and scores of all archers from each nation, use the Ianseo link here.

Our UK athletes would love to see the support of their friends, family and fans on their home turf. If you fancy coming and watching the action in person for free, spectators are allowed to view the week’s shoot behind the barrier at the back of the competition field and visit our lounge.

The live finals will take place next to the beautiful gardens of Lilleshall Hall on Saturday. It will feature the individual finalists from each of the four divisions: Recurve Under-18 and Under-21, and Compound Under-18 and Under-21, men and women. This is sure to be an archery day you won’t want to miss. To come watch, there are still a limited number of tickets available for purchase from Eventbrite, which can be found at the link here.

Tickets cost £12 per person and they get you into the final live on Saturday the 20th. Be there from 10am to 5.30pm to catch all the medal matches and the award ceremonies to cap off the spectacular event from this week.
