The Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association has declared the winning numbers for the Shillong Morning Teer Games played on Monday, November 1. Meanhwile, participants in the archery based lottery game called Shillong Teer will eagerly wait to know the fate of the bets they have placed.
The northeastern state capital of Meghalaya is the only place in the country where people bet on archery to win lottery money.
From Monday to Saturday, 50 archers from 12 archery clubs gather at Shillong’s Polo Ground for the game hosted by the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association. The result of Monday’s archery match can be viewed on the official lottery game website by following this link: www.meghalayateer.com.
The winning numbers for the Shillong Teer will be revealed in two parts as the archery match is split into two rounds. On Monday at 3:45 p.m., the first round of Shillong Teer will be played.
This round will feature a group of 50 archers shooting 30 arrows each at the target. The results of this round, which will be the total number of arrows hitting the target, will be announced at 4:15 p.m.
In the second round starting at 4:45 p.m., 20 arrows will be shot at the target by the group of 50 archers. The results of this round will be published at 5.15 p.m. on the official website.
Today’s Shillong Teer winners will receive exciting cash prizes. Correct prediction of the number of arrows hitting the target in the first round will earn the participant Rs 80 for each Re1 ticket. Correct predictions made in the second round, will earn the participant Rs 60 for each Re 1 ticket.
Those planning to place their bets in the next Shiloong Teer match can purchase the Shillong Teer tickets at any of the state-authorized ticket booking desks in the eleven districts of Meghalaya. From Monday to Saturday, the counters remain open from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Customers will be asked to choose a number from 0 to 99 when purchasing the ticket. The numbers represent the number of arrows that the participant believes will hit the target during the archery match.
