58 Kuwaiti players to participate in Islamic Solidarity Games – ARAB TIMES

KUWAIT CITY, August 7: Kuwait will participate in the Islamic Solidarity Games to be held in Konya, Turkey, from August 9-18. A total of 58 Kuwaiti players will compete in 10 different games of the tournament, mainly athletics and table tennis. , judo and swimming, cycling sports, archery, kickboxing, shooting, karate and taekwondo.

The fifth Islamic countries will participate from different continents. The Kuwait national team will participate in 21 individual and collective sports, in athletics with 12 runners: Majed Al-Zaid, Yaqoub Al-Yoha, Abdul Rahman Al-Azmi, Ali Al-Sabbagha, Ali Al-Zankawi, Ibrahim Al-Fadhli , Meshary Sorour , Amal Al-Roumi, Issa Al-Zankawi, Ibrahim Al-Dhafiri, Khaled Al-Masad and Madawi Al-Shamri

The cycling team will participate with 4 riders, they are Sayed Jaafar Al-Ali, Abdul-Hadi Al-Ajmi, Abdul Rahman Al-Mansour and Khaled Al-Khalifa. While blue is represented in bow and arrow competitions, Badr Al-Salahi, Abdullah Mal Allah, Faisal Al-Rashidi, Abdullah Taha and Abdullah Al-Harbi.

For shooting competitions: Fatima Al-Zaabi, Hajar Abdul-Malik, Abdullah Al-Rashidi, Nasser Al-Maqlad, Afrah Muhammad, Shahd Al-Hawall, Mansour Al-Rashidi, Abdul Rahman Al-Faihan, Iman Al-Shama` a, Sarah Al-Hawawal, Abdulaziz Al-Saad and Talal Al-Rashidi.

In karate competitions, Al-Azraq will participate with 9 players: Sayed Muhammad Al-Mousawi, Abdullah Shaaban, Musa Daoud, Muhammad Hussain, Omar Al-Qena’i, Muhammad Al-Majadi, Sayed Salman Al-Moussawi, Yasmine Al- Mutawa and Sultan Al-Mutairi.

In the kickboxing competition: Abdulaziz Murad, Saeed Al-Hattab, Jazza Al-Husseini and Siham Al-Khorayef. Yusuf Al-Qallaf only participates in taekwondo and judo, Mishaal Al-Ali.

In swimming competitions: Walid Abdul Razzaq, Ali Al-Zamil, Abdulaziz Al-Duwaihi, Saud Al-Shamroukh, Lara Dashti, Rashid Al-Tarmoum and Faisal Al-Tanak.

Table tennis: Fatima Abdul-Hussein, Manwa Al-Shammari and Basil Al-Ansari.
