For the second time in its history, ADIHEX was held for seven uninterrupted days from September 26 to October 2. During a week, the event in the Emirati capital was held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) with over 150 exciting live activities, workshops, presentations and edutainment events, including innovative competitions and sports performances traditional live, as Majid Ali al-Mansour, Chairman of the Senior Organizing Committee and General Secretary of the Emirates Falconers Club, explained.

Among more than a hundred shows, the activities organized by the Emirates Falconers Club stood out, because falconry occupies a very important place in the Emirati culture and heritage. An unmissable visit for all lovers of this art in relation to a traditional sector, but which has also been impregnated with the latest new technologies and advances that its enthusiasts have been able to enjoy in Abu Dhabi.

Majid Ali al-Mansour pointed out that ADIHEX is not only an international forum for experts in the hunting sector or for falconry and horse riding enthusiasts, but hosts several participations of artisans who are in harmony with the essence and content of the event, which embodies the history and heritage and simulates the ancient environment, as they are derived from the authentic customs and traditions of the United Arab Emirates. This helps to ensure the sustainability and promotion of craftsmanship, as Middle East Online has pointed out.

Among the activities enjoyed by visitors to ADIHEX were auctions of falcons, camels and horses, horse riding, archery and raptor shows, a competition for the most beautiful falcons bred in captivity , a saluki beauty pageant and live heritage shows. In addition, the exhibition offered a unique live simulation experience for archery enthusiasts in an ideal and safe environment. Shooting and shooting activities were also planned for beginners and professionals using shotguns and specific bows and arrows; visitors also had the opportunity to explore the latest archery equipment and watch live performances, such as archery on horseback.

In addition, the children took advantage of workshops and educational activities to interact with their favorite animals, such as ponies, horses, dogs and birds, and learn to care for and treat them properly from an early age.

The fair also provided a meeting place for business people related to all the sectors mentioned above that promote the development of the outdoor sector and the various outdoor sports.

Another interesting element of ADIHEX was the participation of the Sheikh Zayed Maritime Heritage Museum, which offered a living archaeological and cultural definition of the sea in the history of the Emirates. Walking through the exhibition, you could admire sailboats and sailors weaving nets and exhibiting gadgets related to their fishing activity. The Sheikh Zayed Maritime Heritage Museum celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and continues to showcase some of the Emirati cultural and heritage heritage.
